Hogan,; ; Mayor of the town. ; . >, When the police were chasing Curtain. 1 : after Mr.Hogan had been shot, Curran'' took refuge behind a tree.. fired and Curran pointed his "rifle"!- and then ran. As he did so the./police fired again, when Curran stopped anfysureendj ered. In addition to the rifle, he wis armed with a pistol and a knife j( and*had 300 rounds of ammunition.
