ENTERTAINMENTS.
SISTER ESTHER'S CONCERT. A very enjoyable concert in aid of Sister Esther's Chrulnias Cheer Fund was held last evening in the Town Hall concert chamber. There was a large.attendance, and the excellent programme provided was enjoyed to the full. A large sale of tickets had been made, and the fund is expected to benefit considerably as a result of the effort. A number of items were given by the Lyric Quartette, consisting of Messrs. A. H. Ripley, H. Richards, Alan McElwain, and J. W. Ryan. Concerted numbers, as well as vocal solos and humorous items, were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. Other vocalists were Miss Nora McManus and Miss Lois Evans. Two dances were executed by Miss Buttina- Edwards. Mrs.A. H. Ripley acted as accompanist. 1 GRAFTON LIBRARY CONCERT. A concert programme of a high order was submitted last evening at the Grafton Library lecture hall. The Albert Symphony "Orchestra, under tho conductorahip of Mr. G. E. Hardey, gave several orchestral selections. Other items were provided by Miss Nora McManus., Mjt. Dan. Mount, and Mr. Dunstan.
MISS E. WYMAN'S RECITAL. A musical recital was givon by Miss Evelyn Wyman in the, showroom of Messrs. Lewis R. Eady and Son, Ltd., Queen Street, on Saturday. Those who contributed items were Mrs. E. Wilson, Misses E. Robinson, M. Rose, .C. McArthur, Lillia.n Quinn, E. Pollard,, D. Taylor, V. Grey, E. Plnmmer, M. Bingham, and Messrs. H. Barry Conev, and H. 0. McFarlane. . ~,. ,<,
