CATTLE TICK TROUBLE.
MORE PRECAUTIONS URGED. [by telegraph.—own corresjondent.] TB PUKE. Tuesday. At a meeting of the Farmers' Union it was decided to "wge the Minister for Agriculture to adopt more striagent enforcement of the cattle tick regulations throughout the whole Auckland province. The stock, .inspectors of this district attend all cattle sales and carefully examine etock. It was contended that a similar policy should be enforced in neighbouring districts, so as to cope with the tick menace. , . ,
