The change there and. the nedical treatment are again proving beneicial. Mrs. Parry and.her little.girl have gone to Scarborough, for a short stay with her parents. Miss Helen Neligan, the younger daughter, is devoting herself .to farm, work on the glebe, which is part of the Ford Rectory. During the war she took an agricultural .yourse,: and ' since becoming qualified she has be<p'very successful with her cows, pigs, and poultry. As the rectory is very capacious, Miss Neligan now thinks it would be a good idea to take a . few students in agricultural .subjects. Mr'.' and Mrs.. Georgo "Knowjes, (nee Miss B. Dormer Maunder) have acquired the historic French chateau of Clos St.' Victor, and, they purpose making this their home. "The chateau dates'from the reign of Louis 'XJ;; and was one of hiS g 'avourite resorts, but.the ivas restored and rebuilt some time in the , IBth-19th century, so that now its-ap-searance is much more modern, but tfto,.<>;;.„,.',.
