MOTORING FATALITY.
LITTLE BOY KILLED. : ACCIDENT AT HAMILTON.' [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN' CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Monday- *: ; Fatal injuries were sustained by a boy • named Raymond Francis Ellis, aged eight years, who was knocked down by a motorcar driven by Mr. Frederick Q. Lintot J in Victoria Street this evening. The boy, who was wearing glasses and was apparently short-sighted, stepped o the footpath in front of a stationary motor-car and apparently failed to no . the approach of the car driven by • Lintott, and he was knocked down. was carried into a chemist s shop, an v was evident that his injuries were verj severe. He died a few minutes later. It is said that the boy, who lived witn his parents in Grey Street, Hamilton a » had been sent on a message without tM knowledge. An inquest will be lie d morrow.
