WEST TAMAKI ROAD BOARD.
The Tamaki West Eoad Board met last week. There were present: Messrs- fi. E. Pilkington (chairman), W. H. Reynolds, L. J. K*.ve, J. W. Andrew and J. 0. MasetieW. The Auckland Harbour Board informed the board that the decking on the St Heliere Wharf would be attended to, and that although the promise that a wind-screen would be erected had not been forgotten, the matter of strengthening the wharf to carry the wind-screen could not be undertaken lor some little time- . It wua resolved to ask the superintendent of police what arrangements, if any, had been nia-de for the services of a constable itr the summer months- . Instructions are to be given for the rubbihb. tip on the foreshore to be well covered' with soil. The question of a tip site was discussed. The chairman offered his section in Ligar Road. Suggestions were also maue of tne pound paddock, being auitable. but the matter was left to the foreman and inspector. A letter was received from the St. John s College trustees, stating that the ; trustees would not 6eU their property at Point England.
