She is load here and sail for Southern ports at aeon on Thursday. The Karori was berthed at the Hobson Wharf yesterday morning to discharge her oargo of coal from Westport. After discharge ehe will load general cargo for Wellington and is to a:iil to-morrow. The Kaiwarra has to load a cargo of coal at Newcastle on Wednesday for Auckland. She ia duo here next week. The Whangape waa due at Wellington on Sunday with a cargo of. coal from NewcastleThe Shaw. Savill and Albion steamor Raranga cleared Wellington at 6.30 a.m. on Saturday for London via Cape Horn. The Naw Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Piako was due ft Wellington on Sunday from Southern ports to complete loading for the United Kingdom. She is to leave wellmgtoir-for London on Friday.

THE PORT ALBANY. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line • steamer Port Albany, on route from London to Auckland, cleared Panama on December 1 and is due here about December 24. She will discharge at Auckland and Wellington and afterwards load in New Zealand for London. ARAWA LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON. The Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Arawa left Southampton on December 1 for Wei ington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington about January 6 and at Auckland a few days later. OIL FOR NEW ZEALAND. The Auckland branch of the Texas Company has received advice that the stoamer Treievan left Port Arthur, Texas, for Auckland on November 3 and cleared Panama on November 20. She is due here about December 15. Her cargo consists of 160.000 cases of refined oil and 3000 barrels of lubricating oil for Auckland, Wellington, and Australian porta. THE PORT VICTOR. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Victor, which arrived from Sydney on Sunday afternoon, was berthed-at the Queen's Whaif morning to load a large quantity of New Zealand produce. From Auckland she will go to Gisborne, TokoE-a.ru Bay, and Wellington to complete loading. She is timed to leave the latter port :'or London, via Panama, on December 31. THE TOFUA. The Island steamer Tofua arrived from ionga, Sa.ir.i.>a, and Fiji yesterday morning and berthed at the King's Wharf- Heavy raine were experienced at Tonga, otherwise the weather at the Islands and on the trip to Auckland was fine. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner lonic arnvod from England, via Wellington, at nj'd-day yesterday and berthed at the Vueen s Wharf to discharge the Auckland portion of her cargo She will afterward* load a quantity o? New Zealand produce at this port for the United Kingdom and hen go to JNajner for further loading. From Napier she will go to Lyttelton ana Port Chalme r s to discharge and load. She is due back at Wellington about January 1 and is to leave there for Southampton and London, via Monte Video and Teneriffe about January 5. FAST LINERS FOR AUSTRALIA. A new service of large fast vessels being inaugurated by the Commonwealth Government Line will shorten the voyage to Australia by at least three or four days. With ample cargo and passer, ger space, they are expected to do the voyage from London to l remantle in 30 days, a feat that is accomplished by cutting out the Mediterranean ports. This fleet consists of five new steamers, spec ally built, each of aoout 14,000 tons roaster. Only a, small number of sa.ooa passengers will be carried, the bulk of the space being devoted to the third class, which over 700 persons can be ac'commofated. Each boars the name of au Australian coastal bay. The pioneer, Morutou Bay. is to lea.y« London to-morrow.
