; Y.M.CA. CARNIVAL. The an nuil swimming carnival of the ■ Y.M.CA. boys' division was held at the • HoOaon Street baths on Friday evening. Xiiere was a good attendance, and an in- • foresting programme was decided. The principal event was the 100 yds champion- • ship, in which a great race took place between V. Cunnold and L. Fairtjray. the • former gaming the verdict by a stroke in • the fast time of 63 3-ss. Another good race was the old boys' 100 yds handicap, which ■ T. Sparling won by a touch from D. R. ' Fairgray.
