LORD ALLENBY'S FORECAST. LIBERAL BUT FIRM POLICY. A. and N.Z. CAIRO, Deo. 1. Lord Al'enby, speaking at a dinner, said that fears regarding Egypt's future were unnecessary. British policy, on which he had not received final instructions, was sure to be liberal but firm. He did not expect an immediate solution, but anticipated eventually a happy solution, safeguarding all interests.
