Delegates from the World's Press Congress at Honolulu state that - two novel methods of treating wast* products from isugar-cane had bee,, brought under their notice. A distilling plant was turning out 1000 gallons of pure fuel alcohol daily from megass, the cane after the juice has been squeezed out. It is claimed that the fuel is produced at one-fifth of the cost of gasolene. Another by-product is being manufactured into coarse paper.
