LISBON, Sept. 22 A violent two days' thunderstorm of unexamnled severity in living memory has caused incalculable damage and considerable loss of life in Lisbon. Many people were drowned in their homes in the lower parts of Lisbon, and others weTe washed into the sewers and drowned. The hospitals are full of hopeless cases.
