GIRL BATHERS' DILEMMA.
WASPS AND CHOCOLATES.
Wasps "held up" two Aldeishot girl bathers in a Surrey pond by settling on their clothing, to which they were attracted by melted chocolates.
As the girls came out of the water thev were horrified to find a bag of chor-obta. alive with hundreds of wasps, while him dreds more were buzzing around, waitim, an opportunity to get a share. Twice the girls made vain atttempa to drive away the insects, but had to reti ro discomfited, *or an bonr they sat d.'s consolate on the bank of the pond, while the wasps devoured the chocolates, and defied allcomers.
