PETITIONS FOR DIVORCE.
TWO DECREES GRANTED.
AN UNFAITHFUL WIFE. Two divorce cases were heard before Mr. Justice Adams in the Supreme Court yesterday. A petition on the ground of adultery waa brought by Ernest Matthew Roiall (Mr. Sellar) against Margaret Mary Roiall, Bert Harris being cited as co-respondent. It waa stated the petitioner suspected his wife of infidelity, and accompanied a private inquiry agent to a park, where the respondent and co-respondent were found in a compromising position. The respondent, it was alleged, told the inquiry agent that the co-respondent was her husband, whereupon the petitioner stepped up and said : " If that man is your husband, who am I?" His Honor granted a decree nisi.
Desertion after a year of married rife was alleged by Annie Hamilton (Mr. Baxter) in her petition against James Hamilton. The petitioner said she was married in 1905, and she had never seen her husband 3ince he left her 12 months later. She did not know why he went; he simply walked out of the house. He had been drinking about that time. • A decree nisi was granted.
