Some exceilcnt shooting was again witnessed, especially on the part of Mr. Whittle, who shot the possible, 21 birds off the scratch mark. Several young shots put on eomo very good scores, ana show great promise. The following weie the principal scores in Tuesday's £100 match of 21 birds: F. W. Peck JJ a p la -P®). 11yds, C. Gjenn (Te Aroha), Byds, L. P. Hughes (Auckland). 19yds, A. Dobson (Auckland). 18yds. F., Seccombe (Te Awamutu). 15yds. shot 20 birds and divided £8. , A 10s sweepstake, with 22 entries, was won by T. Parker. Yesterday's £100 match of 23 birds resulted:—R. W. Whittle (Stratford), 10yds, shot .21 birdß and took £60, T. Parker (Napier), lSyds, W. Woolven (Hamilton). 17yds. A. Bartlett (Cambridge). 12yds, M. rratt (Otorohanga), 12yds, W. Tilsley (Te Aroha). 10yds. C. L. Gordon (Hamilton). 10yds. and F. Campbell (Cambridge), 10yds, shot 20 birds and divided £40. ,A, £1 sweepstake, with 2S entries, was divided between W. Woolven . (JHamUton) 18yds, J. Brind (Hamilton), 9yds, and J. Pratt (Otorohanga), 12y<5s. A consolation sweepstake, with 16 entries was won by Seccombe H. Belk (Taihape). R. Whitford (Hamilton), being second.
