Mason, of the Meianesian mission staff, who has been on furlough in England with Mrs. Mason, b leaving Liverpool for Montreal by the Megantic on August 27. A month will he spent in Canada, and the travellers will j o jjj the Makura at Vancouver on October 8 • During their visit to England, Mr. and Mrs. Mason have been engaged on nmch strenuous work on behalf of the mission. Mr. and Mrs. H. F.. von Haast, who arrived by the Shropshire, intend to spend a month at th 6 English Lakes after a few weeks in London. They will then go on to Scotland, later proceeding to the Continent for a part of the winter season. Their intention is to visit Spain, IteJy and Switzerland. . Dr. E. Boxer (Hastings), who is staying near Queensferry. in Scotland, intends te\ devote August md September to a thorough holiday, dividing his time between motoring and fishing. While in the vicinity of Rosyth he hopes to see as much as he can of things naval During the three remaining months of the year Dr., Boxer intends to visit the various radiological centres in the United Kingdom and to take as much post-graduate work as can be fitted in. Mr. and Mrs. H J. Bray (Auckland) and Miss C. Bray have had a thoroughly enjoyable tour with the New Zealand' bowlers. They are now going to Belgium and France on a brief trip, and then they will return to London. Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Houghton fAuckland) and Miss Houghton are staying at Falmouth, where Major A. B. Rose and Mrs. Rose are now living. They have been exploring a good deal of the Ccieish coastline in Major Bose's yacht.
