The steam whaler Hananui 11. came out of dock on Saturday end berthed at the Albert Wharf The five-masted barquontine E. R. Sterling .is anchored in the stream awaiting a favourable opportunity to sail for Newcastle. Tho Ngatiawa, which has been relieving the Clansman in tho Russell run. will undergo overhaul and survey before resuming in the Opotiki and Bay of Plen'iy run. The Waiotahi will stay on tho Opotiki run until relieved by the Ngatiawa. The K>ni left Onehunga on Saturday for Greymouth, Wellington, and Picton. At the latter port she will load another cargo of produce for Onehunga. The Island steamer Tofua sailed for Fiji. Samoa, and Tonga on Saturday afternoon. She is due back at Auckland on Monday, October 10. The Kakapo. which has been delayed by wet weather at Greymouth, was expected to leave there on Saturday with a cargo of timber and coal for Auckland. Sho is due here to-morrow The Kaitangata arrived from Lytteiton shortly after mid-day yesterday »nd oerthed at the Hobson Wharf to discharge her cargo of general merchandise. She is to sail on Wednesday for Melbourne, via Whangarei - . The Whangape, which arrived from Newcastle late on Friday, berthed at tho Central Wharf on Saturday. She has general merchandise from Melbourne and coal and* general cargo from Newcastle. The Colonial Sugar Company's steamer Fiona, which arrived from Fiji on Friday evening, berthed at Chelsea on Saturday morning to discharge her cargo of sugar. The Hinemoa, berthed at the Hobson Wharf, is to Bail this morning with stores tor the Northern lighthouses. Hitherto the largest vessel that could be accommodated in the Port of London was of 19.000 tons gross, but now that the extension of the Royal Albert Dock has been completed, a ship of 30,000 tons can be berthed within six or seven miles of the heart of the city. The King, in opening the new extension, said that it was 120 yearß since the first of the great London docks—the West India dock—had been opened by the younger Pitt, who was then Prime Minister. The Scales schooner Ysabel arrived from Niue Island yesterday evening and anchored down the harbour. She will undergo medical inspection this morning before berthing. The Arahura arrived from the East Coast yasterday evening and berthed at the Queen's Wharf. She is timed to sail for Giaborne and Napier at 5 p.m. to-morrow. The Wingatui was due from Timaru yesterday, but had not put .in an appearance up to a late hour. On arrival she will berth at the King's Wharf.
THE CORINTHIC. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Corinthio arrived from Wellington yesterday morning. She berthed at the Queen's Wharf to load produce for England, and is to complete loading at Lytteiton, Timaru, Port Chalmers, and Wellington. R.M.S. TAHITI. The R.M.S. Tahiti arrived at Wellington from San Francisco at 6.30 a.m. on Saturday. Bhe is to resume her voyage to Sydr ney at 5 a.m. to-day and leaves Sydney for San Francisco, via Wellington, on September 29. PHOSPHATES FROM NAURU IBLAND. The Kaiwarra is Expected to leave Port Chalmers early this week . for Newcastle. From tho latter port she will go to Ocean Island and Nauru Island to load phosphates for Auckland. MAHENO DUE 9 A.M. TO-MORROW. According to a wireless message _received from the Maheno she will not arrive from Sydney until 9 a.m. to-morrow. Besides general cargo she has 95 saloon and 129 steerage passengers for Auckland. R.M.S. NIAGARA. The R.M.S. Niagara, en route from Vancouver to Auckland, was due at Honolulu 'on Saturday. She is due at Suva next Monday and at Auckland the following Fri- , day.
THE HAVRE. / The steamer Havre, with case oil from the East, had not reported by wireless yesterday. She left Singapore on August 26 and should put -u an appearane at any time now.
