ATTACK ON CONSTABLE.
TWO ARRESTS MADE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PHESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN. Sunday. The police have arrested Allan Aitcheson of North East Vallev, who waned on a charge of causing actual bodily harm to Constable Hesse about a month ago. It is alleged that when the constat, e was called to Aitcheson's house to settle a domestic difference ho was knocked unconscious. Richard Leekie, dairy faimer, was also anested on a charge of inciting Aitcheson to icsist arrest. It appears that I lie police had a strenuous x! niggle before the arrests were efiectod.
