Notice is hereby given that it is the intension of the Raglan County Council, under the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913, and amendments thereto, and all other Acts (ir any) it in that behalf enabling and subject to the consent of the Governor in Council under Section 20 of the Finance Act, 1919, being had and obtained, to Borrow the sum of £2000 for the purpose of completing the formation (including the raising of Wailis's and Muir's Swamps ready for metal) of the road from Port Waikato to Tuakau Bridge, within the Port Waikato-Tuakau Bridge Special Rating District of the County ot Raglan, and as security for the payment of interest, sinking fund and other charges on the said Loan, to make and levy a Special Rate of One Penny in the £ upon the ratable value of all ratable property in the Port Waikato-Tuakau Bridge Special Rating District of the said County and it is the intention to pay out of the Loan the first year's interest and sinking fund. The loan is for a period of 36i years at a rate of interest of five and a half per cent, per annum, together with an additional charge to provide the necessary sinking fund.
