The following telegram has been sent to the manager of the Springboks by Kiwi Amohau, and Tai Mitchell: — "Further to yesterday's telegram. to view of substantial denials given by you in yesterday's papers, though referring only to a cablegram v/e knew nothing about, we accept your explanations as also applying to an objectionable newspaper report of Tuesday last, which solely drew forth our protest. We reciprocate your feelings of regret with this episode, and have telegraphed Dr. Pomare personally to convey the thanks of the Arawas, and state that the very fine sentiments you and Mr. Pienaar expressed in Tamatekapua and our historical marea Te Papa Touru again dominate the situation. Meitaki, kia ora."
