FARMER'S SAD END. [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DANNEVIEKE. Friday. . Mr. Thomas W. Ellingham, one of th« original settlers of Whetukura, was found dead this morning alongside his motor-car, near Ormondvills, with a gunshot wound in his head, A double.b&rreiled gun was in the car, with one cartridge discharged. Deceased bad been on Lis way to Daunevirke. He was » well-known farmer, a member of the JDannevirke A. and P. Associating, w** and repatriation bodies, and Waipawai Hospital Board. At the inquest evidence was gprtn thai, the financial position of the deceased was satisfactory.
