From the latter port she goes to Adelaide to load general cargo for Auckland. The Katoa arrived from Wellington and Southern ports yesterday morning and berthed at the King's Wharf. She is timed to sail at 5 p.m. on Wednesday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Wingatui is due to-morrow from Timaru, and will berth at the King's Wharf to discharge her cargo of produce. She is to sail on Wednesday for Blur?- oama.ru, and Timaru. The Kaitangata is to sail on Wednesday for Melbourne, via Whangarei. The Maheno left Sydney at 9 p.m. oh Thursday with g-snerai cargo and 224 passengers for Auckland. She is due here on Monday, and is timed to return to Sydney next Saturday. The Clansman, which is undergoing overhaul and survey.' is to resume her running in the Russell and Northern trade on Tuesday. The Ngati&wA, which has been, relieving the Clansman, will resume in tile Opotiki trade on Wednesday.

The Government steamer Hinemca sailed for the gulf yesterday morning to attend beacons and buoys. She is due back at any time, and will berth at the Hobaon Wh*rf to load stores for the Northern lighthouses. The Belgian spar-deck steamer General Degoutte, ex Australstream, ex Dalton Hall, 3534 tons gross, and carries about 6750 tons dead-weight, built by Messrs. Fumess, Withy, and Co., "West Hartlepool, in 1899, and owned by the Soo. Maritime Beige, Ghent, has been Bold to Greeks by the Admiralty Marshall for about ■ £ 12.500. She was disposed of in June, 1916, for £80,000. to the Commonwelath Government, who in March, 1919, sold her for about £115,000. The Nobel schooner Huia arrived from the explosive anchorage yesterday morning and berthed at the King's Wharf. She arrived from Wellington on Tuesday morning, and has since discharged 6000 oases of explosives loaded at Melbourne. The balance of her explosive cargo was discharged at Southern New Zealand ports. The vessel will load a cargo of timber here for Melbourne, and is expected to sail in about a week. TOFUA'S DEPASTURE DELAYED. The Island steamer Tofua, which waa to fewe sailed at noon to-day far Fiji, Tonga; and Samoa, will not get away before three o'clock this afternoon.

THE CANADIAN SPINNEB. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian. Spinner, with general cargo from Montreal and New York, is expected to leave Bydney to-day for Auckland, Wellington, and Lytteiton. She is due here on Thursday.

EOTHSAY BAY TO BE A HULK.

The barque Rothsay Bay, which was damaged by collision with the steamer Calm at Dunedin in July, is reported to have been taken over by the Union Company. She is being dismantled in dry dock at Port Chalmers fend is to be converted into a hulk.

THE MATAKANA. The Shaw, Savill a_d Albion Company advises that their new cargo steamer the Matakana is to leave Liverpool on Friday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is clue here about November 7.

WHANGAPE DUE AT 6 A.M. A wireless message received from the Whangtape stated that she will arrive from Newcastle at 6 a.m. to-day. Slit is bringing general cargo from Melbourne and general cargo and coal from Newcastle. She will discharge at the Central Wharf.

CORLNTHIC DUE TO-MORROW. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Coriathic, which arrived at Wellington from England on Tuesday, left Wellington at 1 a.m. yesterday for Auckland.
