Barton, E. Duggan, and G. G. Duffy to \'be plenipotentiaries in the proposed conference with Mr. Lloyd George. | ! It was previously i known that De |Valora would not bo a ;>«iegate to the conference. He will direct th e negotiations nf the delegation from Dublin, where >e will remain in touch with the J)aii L-eami. Mr. Griffith is regarded as '.the ablest delegate. Mr. Duggan participated in the Irish rebellion ; 4 Easter, 1916, and was interned at L.!'ykinlar, , Ho was released on parole to 'Tiaole. him ;.jo .itf-snd a ; law case before the House if Lords, in 'which he was solicitor for ;.thj appellant. Ho waa unconditionally ■jeleased when the present truce was arranged,' Mr. Barton Might in Franca as 4n officer in the Dutlin Fusilierc. He ilw commanded the b irracks in Dublin ip the 1916 rebellion. Subsequently ho 'eft the Army and joined the Sinn Fein.
