rBT TELEGRAPH. OWN , COEH£9?OKDEST.] TAURANGA, Monday. The results of the recent examinations of members of the St. John Ambulancfl Association are to hand, and are highly satisfactory. All those who presented themselves passed, most for first aid and all for the medallion in the first class. Dr. Stuart was again the examiner. A commencement has been mark with the work of building the Bay of Plenty Bacojl and Cold Storage Company's factory in the borough. Owing to the illness of Mr. E. C. Banks, chairman of the Education Board, the opening of the new infant school has been postponed until September 27. At the quarterly meeting of the Tanranga licensing Committee the following permanent transfers of licenses were granted:—Taaranga ITotei, from A. Peters to J. A. C. Fleming; Wivihwi Hotel, from Charles Gibson to George L. Gibson.
