SPRINGBOK KNOCKED UP TEMPORARILY.
At least one of the South African footballers has good cause to remember his visit to Christchurch. Owing to the damp weather experienced at the commencement of the tour, this player found himself speechless with a heavy cold. A Christchurch gentleman, at whose home some of the visitors were entertained, suggested that he should gargle his throat with Baxter's Lung Preserver.
