CAFE CHANTANT.

A ca.'e chantant, in aid of the building fund oi All Souls' Church, Devonport, was opened in the Town Hall concert chamber yesterday afternoon by Dr. J. M. Liston, Roman Catholic CoadjutorBishop of Auckland- The hall was prettily decorated, and many attractive goods were displayed for sale. An enjoyable musical programme was given during the afternoon and evening, dancing adding to the enjoyment of the entertainment. As a result of the effort the building fund will bent'fii by a substantial amount.
