GAOL FOR KISSING.
MAN AND YOUNG GIRL. [BT TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
GREYMOCTH. Mosdav. Thomas Br.tt, aged 49 years, a man with no fixed abode, was convicted in the Magistrate's Court on a charge of having assaulted a girl, aged 11, by kissing her lhe mcident occurred at Arauka on the evening of August 21. The child was seized by defendant, who had been drinking, and he kissed her several times on the cheek.
Accused was sentenced to 14 davs' imprisonment. -
