TELEPHONE EXCHANGE HOURS. [BY TELEGBAPH. —OWN- CORRESPOXDEN'T.] HELENSYILLE. Monday. I An extension of hours at the Helensj villa telephone exchange is contemplated. I and the exchange will probably be open I from 7 a,m. to II p.m., -with an hour j on Sunday morning and evening respeci tively. This needed improvement will be I greatly appreciated by subscribers and ; the public generally. 1 Eoring for hot springs on one of the ! Parakai boarding house properties has i been in operation for some weeks, but , has now been discarded, as the flow was , ijoo small for useful service, although the ! bore was put down to a considerable j depth. The two new bores in the I domain grounds are flowing as strongly Jas when first the underground spruvs j were tapped, and there is an ample supI ply of hot mineral water available, both for the new swimming bath for women, and additional private baths. Mr. 0- Sandin has disposed of his Te Pus property, comprising 13 acres of land, bouse and outbuildings, as a going concern, to a Feilding buyer for £3100. This is considered a very satisfactory price.
