development arranged. PROMISING PROSPECTS. There is an element of romance in con nection with the reopening of a gold mine distanced about 50 miles from Blenheim. An Auckland mining expert has arrived in Wellington after inspecting the mine on behalf of an Australian syndicate, which is taking over the property. According to various tests made by different assavers throughout the Dominion, the quartz is shown to yield what should be highly Datable returns. - The mine was discovered about 12 years ago, and was taken over by a Wellington business lady who has remained faithful to her conviction that the mine is a valuable one.
