TO-DAY'S FORECAST. GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government meteorologist reported last night as follows. —Present indications axe for easterly winds strong to gale northward of Kawhia and Gisborne, moderate to strong south-easterly winds, backing to northerlies, and then increasing elsewhere. Cloudy and unsettled weather is likely to prevail, with rain following generally and heavy rain soon in Northern districts. The barometer will fal] everywhere. MR. WRAGGE'S FORECAST. The following weather forecast was supplied to us by Mr. Clement L. Wragge, at 7.30 last evening:—Pressure is now relaxing and a new Antarctic depression named Dem6ned is approaching from the west.
