SATISFACTORY SHjPMENT. [BY TRLEGRAPH- —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Horticultural Division of the Agricultural Department is advised from London, under date June 3, that the Athenic's apples are opening up in splendid condition, and the shipping company is to be congratulated on their carriage. The prices at the first auction were very satisfactory: Jonathans, 25s to 295; Dunns, 28s to 31s; Rome Beauty, 31s; King David Statesman, 27s to 283; Stunners, 30s to 325; London Pippin, 27s to 30s per case. Canterbury pears are opening up very well except Marie Louise, which are bruised and appear frosted. Maori Coles are very wasty. Sales take place at Hull on Monday and Thursday of next week.
