Sheerlegs Wharf.—Philomel (H.M.S.). North Wall—Dartford (barque), Kaeo (sen.). The Melanesian mission steamer Southern Cross left for the various mission stations in Melanesia on Saturday afternoon. Shetook several passengers and a quantity of general stores. The Mararoa arrived from Napier and Gisborne yesterday afternoon with passengers and cargo and berthed at the Queen's Wharf. She is to return to Napier, via ports, to-morrow at 5 p.m. The Waitomo left for Timaru on Saturday evening to load produce for Auckland. Her berth at the Queen'e Wharf was taken by the Kaikorai, which arrived from the South on April 18 with produce. The Katoa was docked for cleaning and painting on Saturday morning. She came out of dock again in the afternoon, and immediately sailed for Wellington, Lytteiton, and Dunedin with general cargo. The departure of the Kaituha for Kaipara and Australia -haß been postponed until Wednesday. The Matatua berthed at the King's Wharf on Saturday to discharge cargo from Liverpool. The Waikouaiti left' Lytteiton on Saturday afternoon with produce for Auckland, She is due to*morrow. The bafqUentine Laura, laden with sawn timber, took up an anchorage in the stream yesterday in readiness to sail for Sydney. Should the weather be favourable she will take her departure this morning. The ketch Ajas is announced to sail for Apia and Pago Pago on Saturday. Cargo for these ports will be received en Thursday and Friday. Captain E. R. Sterling, master and owner of the six-masted barquentine E. R. Sterling, Jeft for Sydney by the Makura on Saturday. Captain T. Carmichael is now in tem- , porary command of the vessel, and will take her across to Newcastle. »The Pacific Steam Navigation Company has purchased the steamer Marathon, 7827 tons, and has renamed her the Oruba. Captain J. J\ Cameron is still in command of the Remuer3, which arrived at Wellington op Friday from London and Southampton. MAHENO FROM SYDNEY. The Maheno is due from Sydney at 7 a.m. to-day with passengers, mails, and cargo. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf, and \ is ■announced to return to Sydney on Thursday at 4 p.m. THE ISLAND TRADERS. A wireless message was received from the Navua on Saturday to the effect- that she expected to arrive from the Western Pacific at 6 a.m. to-morrow. The Navua, whicn is to take up the Talune'e running in the Eastern Pacific trade, is announced to leave Auckland next Friday. The Atua was expected to leave Suva on Saturday for Auckland with a cargo of raw sugar. On discharge the Atua will proceed to Sydney. The Tofua. which is to enter the Western Pacific service in place of the Navua, will be doijked, early" this week, and on Saturday she will leave for Suva, Friendly Islands, '■, and Samoa at 10 a.m. ' ■ —_ THE COLLIERS. The Kekerangu. which arrived from Newcastle on Friday with a cargo of coal, berthed at the Central Wharf on Saturday morning. The Trewinnard is expected to complete the discharge of her cargo of coal from Norfolk to : morrow. She will then proceed to Australia, where she will load wheat for the United Kingdom. The Kowhai is to leave Greymouth on Thursday with a cargo of coal for Onehunga She will return to the former port on discharge. The Waipori. laden with bunker coal for H.M.S. Chatham, which is now carrying out gunnery practice in the gulf, is due at Port Fiteroy. Great Barrier, early this morning from Westport. The Kl,row left for Westport oft Saturday evening to load coal for a port not yet disclosed. TAIROA LEAVES LIVERPOOL. The Shaw. Savill and Albion Companv's steamer Tairoa left Liverpool on April 21 cargo laden for Auckland; Wellington Lytteiton, and Dunedin. She is due at this port about June 5. ' THE WESTERN CROWN. The Western Crown has taken the loading berth at NeW, York for Auckland, Napier Wellington, Lytteiton, Timaru. and Dunedin She is to sail about the end of April. • THE PORT DARWIN. The Port Darwin arrived from London via Australian ports lastflight, and anchored in the stream. She left London 'on Februarv and called at Capetown, Melbourne.. Sydnev' Hobart. and Port Kembla.
