Ohinemuri.—The Silverstream crosscut is now in 3S7ft. The reef has been penetrated for 13ft.. and the footwall is not yet showing. The quartz broken shows streaks of sulphides of silver,* more especially in the last 2ft.. and rhodonite is also showing. This is a good indication. Altogether the reef looks promising. When the footwaJl is reached the lode will fee thoroughly sampled at the point of intersection.
