OFFER TO CARPENTIER.
AN AUSTRALIAN INVITATION. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE, April 12. Mr. Jack Munro, manager of the Sydney Stadium, has cabled to M. Deschamps, offering Carpentier £20,000 for three fights in Australia after his match with Jack Dempsey. Mr. Munro will arrange for Lioyd to come from NewZealand and Cook from England if Carpentier accepts.
