Rarang» is to leave Wellington cargo laden, for London on Saturday. The cable steamer Iris is expected to sail for Norfolk Island this afternoon. Captain J. B. B. Hunter is still in command of the Shropshire, which arrived at Wr ellington on Saturday from Liverpool. The schooner Houto is to load tiles at Dunedin for Auckland at an early date. The Ruapehu is due at Wellington from Lyttelton to-day to complete Homeward loading. Her departure for London from Wellington is announced for April 19. The Auntralcras, due at Auckland on May 11 from Ghent, is coming to the agency of Spedding. Ltd. The Rona, which arrived from Fiji on Monday evening with a cafgo of raw sugar and molasses, proceeded to Chelsea yesterday, to discharge. The Mako arrived from Whangarei early yesterday morning with a cargo of cement, and berthed at the Queen's Wharf. She is announced to sail for East Coast bays this evening. Th» departure of the Piako for Wellington has been further delayed until 6.30 a.m. to-day. Her berth at th© Queen's Wharf will be taken at 7 a.m. by the Otira, which arrived from St. John on Saturday. The Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross berthed, at the Hobaon Wharf yesterday to load store*, etc.. for Melanesia. The Sussex i s . to sail for Wellington early to-morrow morning to continue the discharge of her cargo from St. John. Her berth will be taken by the Tasmania, which arrived from Liverpool on Sunday. The Kaikorai left Oamaru yesterday morning for Timaru to complete loading for Auckland. The Katoa -waa'to leave Lyttelton yesterday for Auckland with a cargo of produce. The Flora is announced to Bail for Wellington at noon to-day. From the latter port she will proceed to Pioton, where she wjll lift a cargo of chaff for Onehunga. The Canadian Highlander sailed for Vancouver yesterday with cargo loaded in Australia, Wellington, and Auckland. • A wireless message was received from the Paloona • yesterday to the effect that she would arrive at Wellington to-day from Melbourne. The message added that she was meeting heavy weather. The Union Steam Ship Company's new oil tank steamer Orowaiti, wa s launched in February at Greenock dockyards, on the Clyde. The vessel, which is a converted cargo steamer, 'has a length of 406 ft.. a breadth of 534 ft . and a depth of 30 J ft.. with a dead-weight carrying capacity of 10,000 tons on a draft of 30ft. It was expected that the Orowaiti would be ready to sail for the Pacific coast of America by the end of March. She will be employed in connection with th«> oil fuel puTjniv of the Niagara, Makura, Tahiti, and Marama. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Opawa, en route from Lyttelton to London, left Colon on April 6. The lonic, en route from Southampton to Wellington, left Balboa' on Saturday. She is due at We<llin?tott on April 30. Captain Munro. of the Canterbury Shipping Company, will leave New Zealand on April 23 by the Corinthic for England to purchase additional tonnage for the Dua-edia-Wanganui trade. The Surrey left Liverpool on April 3 for Middlesbrough to complete her loading for the Dominion. Her ports of discharge will be Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Port Bowin is to load at Glassow aind Liverpool during May for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. WAIHORA LEAVES SINGAPORE. Tho Wsihora, en route from Calcutta to New Zealand ports, left Singapore on Monday for Auckland, via Cairns and Newcastle. She is due art Auckland early in May. THE COLLIERS. A wireless message was received from the Whangape yesterday to the effect that she expected to arrive from Newcastle early thes morning. She has 3300 tons of coal and will berth at the Central Wharf. She will return to Newoastle on disoharge. The Waipori is to leave for Westport at noon to-morrow to load coal for Auckland. The Karamu was to leave Westport yesterday for Onehunga with a cargo of coal. THE MAIL STEAMERS. The R.M.S. Niagara left Sydney for Auckland at 11 a~m. on Monday with passengers and cargo, she h) due on Friday morning, and is announced to sail for Vancouver, via ports, at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The R.M.S. Makura, due at Auckland from Vancouver, via ports, on April 21 is announced to leave for Bydney the following day. The R.M.S. Marama arrived at Papeete on Saturday afternoon from San Francisco and •sailed on Sunday 4 for Rarotonga and Wellington. She is due aft the latter port on Saturday. The R.M.S. Tahiti, which left Wellington on April 5, arrived at Rarotonga on Sunday afternoon and sailed the same evening for Papeete and San Francisco. THE SYDNEY SERVICE. The Riverina, which arrived at Sydney from Auckland on Monday, is to leave on the return journey to-morrow. She will be due next Monday, and commencing from Thursday.
