TRAINING OF CADETS.

COURSE AT TRENTHAM. A draft of 38 senior cadet non-com-missioned officers from the Auckland district paraded at the railway station last evening under the command of Lieut. K. S. Judson, V.C., and entrained for Trentham by the Main Trunk express. They will undergo a 14-days' course of training, which will include musketry, physical training and infantry drill. The keenness of the lads to undergo these voluntary courses is reflected in the spirit and efficiency of their companies. The draft from this district was originally 11, but at the last moment Auckland was called upon to supply the deficiencv of other districts. It speaks well for the enthusiasm of the cadets that an additional '£( were secured at the shortest notice.
