SINGULAR FATALITY.
♦ . [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN. Monday. Gordon Alexander Stevenson, brother of the Mayor of Port Chalmers, died at Mount Royal, near Palmerston. yesterday from the effects of a recent motor-bicyclo mishap. Deceased fell off a cycle, aj;d. in doing so, broke a bottle of petrol it hia pocket, which severed an artefj} causing considerable bleeding.
