Skerrett and Watkine, Kjicins Conference Appeal Judges, hi the gutter of the appeal by L. M. The appellant (a licensed jockey) was on "'ebruary 7, 1921, disquaiilied by the oomnittee of the Stratford Racing Club for an raoutha for incompetent horsemanaiup in iae riding of Walton in tho Lowgarth Wolter Handicap on the eecond day of the btratford Racing Club's meeting- On I'tb- • iiary lo the district committee of the laranaki Jockey Club, on appeal, deter•l, n<-d teat iht) above decision should be appri ved the disquauncation to date from •-.o cm mat. The present appeal is from "n.b decision. It is to be noticed that i - taer the judicial committee of the Strat- ■ rd Racing Club nor the district committee determined that the appelant had committed any ot tho acts punishable by diaTiaiification under Rule 1 Part XXXII. nor , nv the the wilful acta punishable under i-101-o 1 Part XXV. The determination was .nat the appellant offended by reason of ■:.■ ompetent horsemanship. and .not by a.ny w-'.tul and intentional act on nis part.
