DEPORTATION CONTROVERSY. MEMORIAL TO GOVERNMENT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 1.15 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 15.' Th* case of Mr. D. O'Callaghan. Lord Mayor of Cork, who entered the United States without a passport and declined to leave within the »ime granted by the Labour Department, has been again Irought before the attention of the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Labour. Mr. O'Callaghan'e attorneys are presenting a memorial to the Government, claiming for him the right of sanctuary and asylujn in the United States. Meanwhile protests are being made against the continued presence of Mr. O'Callaghan in the United States.
