H.M.S. CHATHAM MATCH

A cricket match between teams representing the officers and men of H.M.S. Chatham was played on the Devonport Domain yesterday, the men winning by 12 runs. Scores: —Officers, first innings, 93 (Commodore Hotfcam 22. Lieutenant Bush 22) j second innings. 33. Men: First innings. 67 (Burt 27 not out); second innings, 77 (Plank 35). In the men's first innings Commodore Hotham took four wickets for 10 inns, and Commander Lewin five for 20. In the officers' first innings Pavitt took three wickets for 19 runs, and Mac Donald three for 16: in their second innings Nash took five wickets for 12 runs, and Plank two for 11.
