The Washington correspondent of the Chicago Tribune states that a Korean commission has issued a statement giving details of atrocities committed by Japanese soldiers on Korean residents in the Chientao district of Manchuria, It asserts that during November, 1920, 3128 inhabitants were murdered, and 238 arI rested, 76 women were assaulted; and j i 2404 houses, 31 schools, and 10 churches | were burned, and 818,620 bushels of grain were destroyed. !
