FIRE AT A HOSPITAL.
I MOTHERS AND BABIES SAVED. j LONDON, Jan- 13. ' Exciting scenes were witnessed at Edin- ' burgh in a maternity hospital situated on the fourth and fifth floors of a building i in ancient High Street, which was cut off jby fire. Six mothers and seven babies | were lowered to the street in slings and I cradles, without a casualty. Crowds in j the street cheered the feat.
