TETANUS ENDS FATALLY.
o> [ST TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. J WHAKATANE. Wednesday. A farmer, Mr. William Sands, aged 20, who had only recently arrived in New Zealand, died of tetanus last evening. A fortnight ago a splinter of wood entered between two fingers. The wound wag dressed at the tune, but tetanus supervened. Mr. Sands' parents reside a% Hastings.
