SLY GROG-SELLING.

OFFENDER SENT TO GAOL. [BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] TAUMARUNUI. Thursday. A sentence of six months* imprisonment was imposed upon John Mishalick for sly grog-selling at Taumarunui. Four men went to the accused's house, where one man bought three bottles of whisky at 25s a bottle. When the whisky had been drunk, and the party was leaving the house, the purchaser discovered that "a roll of £60 was missing from his pocket. This was accused's third convection for sly grog-selling here.
