BALLOON-CATCHING PARTIES. LONDON. Jan. 10. The latest amusement for all ages at parties is " balloon catching." A rubber novelty syndicate supplies not only toy balloons, but skilled operators to inflate the balloons with hydrogen. A feature of fashionable dinner parties is an exciting chase of the elusive balloons. Tables, chairs, and bannisters are sometimes destroyed, but the sport is alleged to be highly entertaining.
