The three-masted scow* Cathkit, which recently left Auckland for Gisborne after undergoing an extensive overhaul, has been chartered to load timber at Gisborne for Sydney. Tho P. and O. mail steamer Naldera is due at Sydney on Saturday from London, via ports. The Canadian Importer is announced to leave St. John on Januery 29 for Wellington, Auckland. The ketch Rira % from Nukualofa was reported to be ineide Tiritiri last evening. THE SYDNEY STEAMER. The Tofua is expected to leave Sydney for Auckland to-day with passengers and cargo. Bne will be due on Monday, and ia announced to return to Sydney on January 26. TRELYON LEAVES NEW YORK. The Trelyon left New York on January 10 cargo-laden for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton. Timaru, and Dunedin. The vessel, which is coming to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company, ia due at Auckland about February 19. THE CALCUTTA TRADERS. The Sealda, en route from Calcutta, left Brisbane on Tuesday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is duo at this port on January 26. RUAHINE AT The New Zealand Shipping Company's Steamer Ruahine arrived at Wellington yesterday from London and Southampton. She brought a large number of passengers and a quantity of cargo for the Dominion. Her Auckland passengers will arrive by the Man! Trunk express this afternoon. On discharge of her Wellington cargo the Ruahine will visit Auckland to put out the remainder 1 of heir freight She will load at this port I for London. THE WANGANUI. The barquentine Wanganui, which arrived from Grafton. Clarence River, late on Tuesday night, berthed at the Central Wharf yesterday.
