CABINET STILL DEBATING. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Eecd. 13.5 a.m.) SYDNEY. Jan. 19 The New South Wales Cabinet adjourned till to-morrow further consideration of the demands of the Australian labour Party for a curtailment of the re cess. It is considered probable that a compromise will he reached. Although the general opinion is that the j Premier, Mr. J. Storey, has the upper : hand in the crisis, the executive of the Australian Labour Party has issued a eport stating that it has won the first roiind, as yesterday the Government had to adjourn a meeting to avoid defeat.
