BAKERS' EXHIBITION.
«£►■ OPENING TO-MORROW AFTERNOON. An exhibition of bread, pastry, and small Roods, arranged by the Master Bakers' Association, will be opened" by the Governor-General, Lord Jellicoe, in the Town Hall at two o'clock to-morrow afternoon. Nearly 1000 entries have been received, and an interesting feature will be the children's competition, in which the exhibits have been made entirely by girls. Afternoon tea will be provided and an orchestra will be in attendance in the evening. The exhibition will be continued on Saturday. The annual conference of the New Zealand United Master Bakers' Association will be officially opened by the Mayor, Mr. J. H. Gunson, to-day. The programme of the conference extends until Tuesday.
