" Query." —1. The records show that Arrowsmith cost 860gns. when bought in England on account of Mr. J. W. Heslop. The latter sold the horse to Mr. H. W. Brown, of Wellington, some 12 months back for £5000. 2 Gloaming was bought as a yearling for -30ens. So far Gloaming has won in stakes £17.938.
