Stocks of apples ex cool store arc nearly finished, Sturaiers realisinr from 14s to 18»; Doughertys from 7s -6d to 13s 6d."' Hothouse tcmaties arc being keenly sought after at prkc3 ranging from Is 6d to 2s 6d per lb., according to quality. The market is overstocked With local lemons, and the demand for these is very slow. A large shipment of banana* came iorward by the Navua, but did not realise as high prices as the previous shipment owing to the quantities of local fruit on the market. A fe-arpears have been sold, and realised from 4s 6d to 7s 6d per ISib. case. Gooseberries are about finished, and are selling at prices ranging: from Ss to 12s.
