Wintle, of St. Stephen's Avenue, Paroell, was considerably damaged through colliding with a fence in Lake Road, Takapuna, yesterday. It appears that a horze, belonging to Mr. T. G. Mr. Wmtle, accompanied by Mrs. Wintle and two children, was approaching in a motorcar at, the time, and had to swerve to the right to avoid a collision with the frightened horse, with the result that he Struck the fence at the roadside. The body of the car was considerably damaged, but the occupants escaped injury. Mrs. Wmtle, however, is suffering from shock.
